Yeh hai mumbai meri jaan....
Do not miss it.
Based on the lives of few people in the aftermath of July 11 blasts in Mumbai, it manages to leave a deep impression on the mind, and a hope for humanity. Directed by Nishikant Kamat, it contains very moving and evocative performances by Paresh Rawal (easily his best performance to date), K K Menon (superbly handles the best story of the lot), Soha Ali Khan (what a revelation), Irfan Khan, Madhavan, and Vijay Maurya.
The movie would keep on playing on your mind long after the end credits roll. The movie makes you notice, makes you cry, and makes you think - and in the end leaves you with a hope, and optimism about life. It is movie making at its best.
